M8 (Lagoon Nebula)

Captured during a cloud lull at main objectives n/o 8/11/2006. Shot through narrow slit between house and trees. M8 was at 15 degrees alt over garage and neighborhood houses. I wanted more exposures, but the third in the sequence showed the nebula going behind trees.
Primary: LXD-55 mount, Nikon 200mm f/4 lens, Astronomik Halpha filter, SX MX716 camera, Astroart 3.0.
Guiding: T80, Vesta, GuideDog (ASCOM).
Image Processing: Astroart, Paint.Net:Resize, DDP, bloat reduction, unsharp, curve adjustment, resize.
